This kit is a great way to start boro stitching.
~12 boro fabric pieces. Each piece is 5" x 5'. Designs are replicas of the Japanese sashiko fabric of yesteryear. There is enough to make a 15 x 20 boro fabric.
~13 x 18 light weight white cotton fabric (sarashi) used as a backing or stabilizer to lay each piece of fabric onto to baste or just begin stitching it all down. This fabric is a traditional Japanese cotton fabric popularly used for sashiko stitching in Japan.
~One 40m skein white sashiko thread.
~Sashiko needles with threader.
